A Race to Remember!
Every year, our village hosts the exhilarating Naturalistic GeRunni race. Participants can choose between a scenic 5km and 10km route, showcasing the breathtaking natural beauty of our surroundings and stunning views of the Gerani Bay.
After crossing the finish line, join us for a grand celebration filled with delicious traditional dishes that will delight your taste buds.
For our young athletes, there’s also a special 2km children's race, where the little champions will fill the village streets with their energy and enthusiasm.

Every spring, our village's cultural association organizes a unique treasure hunt that takes place throughout the village. From early in the morning, teams set off into the streets, searching for the hidden treasure and solving puzzles that lead to victory.
The lucky winning team will take charge of organizing the next year's hunt, adding an extra layer of competition!

Blood Donation Day:
A Tree of Life and Love!
Every year, the community of Gerani and its residents come together for a truly meaningful cause — the annual blood donation event. With open hearts and a strong sense of solidarity, locals and visitors alike are invited to offer the most precious gift of all — the gift of life. By giving blood, you can help save lives and make a real difference in someone’s story.
Inspired by this beautiful act of kindness, one of the many murals in our village depicts a symbolic “Tree of Life.” Instead of flowers, its branches bloom with red drops of blood, each bearing the name of a donor — a heartfelt tribute to all those who give selflessly for others.
This living symbol of compassion and unity reminds us that even the smallest act can grow into something deeply meaningful. Join us in this annual tradition and be part of a gesture that celebrates love, humanity, and hope.
